KRASSIMIRA ASENOVA KOLDAMOVA
The prima ballerina Krassimira Koldamova is a honorary member of the CHILD SUPPORT ASSOCIATION.
The Bulgarian prima ballerina – academician Krassimira Koldamova was born on December 8th, 1938 in Stara Zagora. She graduated the National School of Dance Art in Sofia. In 1956 – 1957 she specialized in the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow.
Her debut is at the Sofia’s opera and ballet stage in 1954. She toured the big theaters around the world. In 1972 – 1973 she is the prima ballerina of “Grande Ballet Classique de France”. She has 60 roles in more than 70 shows.
Krassimira Koldamova is a teacher and member of juries at national and international competitions. She initiates the establishing of the national competition “Anastas Petrov” and she is one of the founders of the famous Arabesque ballet.
In 1991 she set up the first private ballet studio for discovering and developing the talent.
She is awarded with the Stara Planina Medal for merits in the area of art and culture. The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Arts awarded her with the title “Academician”.
